Wanted a Bluetooth phone without all the expense and this is it. Popped my AT&T SIM card in from my Nokia and away it went. Makes and receives calls hands free through my Chrysler car radio while it sits untouched in its holster on my waist.

Syncs with Microsoft Outlook (supplied) on your PC through a USB (supplied) cable. You can set up appointments and addresses and sync them with the phone.

Screen is brilliant. Keys are a little small. Battery life is unexceptional. Menus are unintuitive. Sound is good on both ends of the call. Speakerphone is just a tad weaker than I'd like but still OK.

After owning a number of smartphones over the years, Blackberry's, a T-Mobile Dash w/ Windows Mobile 6, etc., this Nokia blows them all away. After 1 month using it I am very happy with the purchase (got it direct from Mobilecity, which was cheaper). The S60 OS is better than Blackberry (way more features and 3rd party support) and is much more stable and fast than Windows Mobile.

Pros:
- BIG beautiful 2.8" screen (the best feature, makes web surfing much better)
- Light sensing screen looks great in any situation, even in sunlight (it uses a LCD-like mode)
- Quality/durable construction
- Excellent reception
- Good battery life (2 full days w/ normal use)
- Good camera and video (performs as good as a 3MP)
- It talks (voice tells you who is calling)
- Nice keyboard (silent)
- Stable S60 Symbian OS (never crashes)
- 3rd party software support (excellent for all S60 phones), ie FREE utilities and games
- wifi works great
- lots of cool features...finding new stuff all the time, voice activation, gps, windows office support, voice recorder, themes, etc.
- Excellent software Nokia PC Suite includes full configuration backups (not something that MS never included), file manager, media players, etc.
- Did I mention the nice big 2.8" screen?

Cons:
- The basics are easy, but there's a steep learning curve with many menus to configure for power users who want to get the most out of this phone (but you are rewarded for your efforts with almost unlimited customizing and features).
- handset volume could be better (the speakerphone sounds great though)
- The size of this phone may be kinda big for some (I personally like it's size, but it's probably not for everyone)
- The call buttons on the top are a bit hard to press due to their shape, you kinda have to use your fingernails.
- Once annoyance is the lack of button for speakerphone (it's burried in the menu...time to find an OS hack for this..)

Nokia replaced this phone in 2009 with the E71, but they made the screen much smaller, only 2.3" now!" Big mistake Nokia. I'll keep my E61i and never have to squint.

Tips: The included web browser isn't bad, but Opera Mini (free download) is better. As far as Youtube, go to their mobile site to have it integrate with the included Real Player to watch videos. Anytime you can't figure something out or something isn't working the way you want, just search in google and you'll find the fix every time. There is almost nothing you can't do with this phone, it is like the ultimate geek toy.

I bought this phone from another merchant, for my son. All was well for awhile then he couldnt send pic messages. He could receive them, but not send them. I went into message settings and made sure everything was correct and fixed that problem and all was well again. Then a week later he couldn't send regular text messages. He could receive them, but couldn't send them. They would just go to the outbox. So we called AT&T and they said it had to be the phone because all of our settings and provisions were correct. Called Nokia and had to do a hard reset (after backing up all pics, files, etc). After that everything worked fine again.

The phone itself seems typical of Nokia - Good quality, very durable, packed with features, easy to use, sleek design and feel. The camera is excellent and there are alot of features for use with the camera as far as editing, modes, etc. The screen is a nice size and the coloring is vibrant. My son absolutely loved it, but he is getting tired of the messaging problems. I can't blame him for that. I had bought him a Tilt2, but that phone was absolutely horrible. It locked up/froze constantly and finally took a final freeze and became a paperweight. So we returned it and bought this Nokia E75 since it had most all of the features my son had wanted, except for touch screen and tilting screen. Seemed like a good tradeoff since Nokia's are such good phones.

If we have to do the hard reset on this E75, we may end up returning it. It is simple to do, but it is something that shouldn't HAVE to be done in order for the phone to work properly. Texting is something my son can't live without. He sends and receives over 5000 texts a month. Typical teen these days I guess.

Anyway, overall despite the messaging problem it is a good phone. It processes fast, call quality is great, reception is great, has all the features you could need or want and it looks good too. The QWERTY pad is nice sized and easy to use. There have been issues with the recent updates though too, so if you are buying this phone soon, or have bought one recently - DO NOT UPDATE YET UNTIL THEY WORK OUT ALL THE BUGS! The update is bricking some phones and renders most capabilities useless when it doesn't completely brick it.

After owning a number of smartphones over the years, Blackberry's, a T-Mobile Dash w/ Windows Mobile 6, etc., this Nokia blows them all away. After 1 month using it I am very happy with the purchase (got it direct from Mobilecity, which was cheaper). The S60 OS is better than Blackberry (way more features and 3rd party support) and is much more stable and fast than Windows Mobile.

Pros:
- BIG beautiful 2.8" screen (the best feature, makes web surfing much better)
- Light sensing screen looks great in any situation, even in sunlight (it uses a LCD-like mode)
- Quality/durable construction
- Excellent reception
- Good battery life (2 full days w/ normal use)
- Good camera and video (performs as good as a 3MP)
- It talks (voice tells you who is calling)
- Nice keyboard (silent)
- Stable S60 Symbian OS (never crashes)
- 3rd party software support (excellent for all S60 phones), ie FREE utilities and games
- wifi works great
- lots of cool features...finding new stuff all the time, voice activation, gps, windows office support, voice recorder, themes, etc.
- Excellent software Nokia PC Suite includes full configuration backups (not something that MS never included), file manager, media players, etc.
- Did I mention the nice big 2.8" screen?

Cons:
- The basics are easy, but there's a steep learning curve with many menus to configure for power users who want to get the most out of this phone (but you are rewarded for your efforts with almost unlimited customizing and features).
- handset volume could be better (the speakerphone sounds great though)
- The size of this phone may be kinda big for some (I personally like it's size, but it's probably not for everyone)
- The call buttons on the top are a bit hard to press due to their shape, you kinda have to use your fingernails.
- Once annoyance is the lack of button for speakerphone (it's burried in the menu...time to find an OS hack for this..)

Nokia replaced this phone in 2009 with the E71, but they made the screen much smaller, only 2.3" now!" Big mistake Nokia. I'll keep my E61i and never have to squint.

Tips: The included web browser isn't bad, but Opera Mini (free download) is better. As far as Youtube, go to their mobile site to have it integrate with the included Real Player to watch videos. Anytime you can't figure something out or something isn't working the way you want, just search in google and you'll find the fix every time. There is almost nothing you can't do with this phone, it is like the ultimate geek toy.

This was my second phone with Sprint after having a free little flip phone. I have had this phone now for 2 and a half years. Have not had any problems with it. It is a wonderful phone. Has a lot of memory, an sd card slot for additional memory. Great camera and camcorder. This is a smaller phone for business ppl. It has email account setup, I love this phone dearly. I would recommend it to anyone.

This phone hasn't gotten as much hype because the operating system that came as default was pretty bad. Once I installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.0, it turned my phone into an awesome phone. You can customize everything and I would say it's very similar to Google's new android phone. The camera is great at 5.0 megapixs. The wifi, FM Radio, internet browser, built in mail, Excel, Work, Power Point. This phone is the real deal and much better and more customizable than the iPhone. Not to mention it comes with 8 GB of storage. I would strongly recommend this phone!!!

I was deciding between a Palm Centro and a Blackberry Pearl when this little number caught my eye. It took some time getting used to the touch keyboard but became pretty effortless after a week. I've not experienced any glitches with windows mobile as of yet. Overall it appears to process quickly. I really appreciate the decent size screen. The phone is working very well with my car's microsoft windows sync system. The menus on this phone are quite easy to navigate. I'm getting excellent reception on this phone at work, considering my co-workers are looking for a window while I'm perfectly fine (in my windowless office). The phone is also attractive, very sleek looking and can be easily carried in your pocket.
